Silicon Nitride Ceramic Heater ( Si3N4 )


Silicon Nitride heaters are normally in rectangular shape . Alloy wire is wrapped in dense silicon nitride ceramic body , where silicon nitride plays the role of heat transfer medium . These igniters have operation zone up to 1000℃ , and a cold zone in the contact area . Encapsulated terminal can prevent short circuit caused by conductive contamination . They can be operated with or without a controller. Silicon nitride igniters have several times the durability than that of silicon carbide products . Silicon nitride igniter can heating from 800℃ to 1000℃ within ten seconds.
